One of the major hurdles to jump with respect to open-source software
is support. Who can you hold accountable for software that is
available for free?
The AXE Group provides support for Open Source Software we have
years of experience, using either open-source or commercial products.
We have two standard support offerings:
1. Annual Support: This program offers support
for Software’s for the period of one year. Since Software’s
are not licensed, clients may have multiple instances of the product
installed. There is no additional cost per instance (since people
are actually encouraged to have more than one) but in order to
fairly limit the support contract, only two customer contacts
(primary and secondary) are able to enter support calls. There
is no limit for the number of support calls that can be made.
2. Installation Support: This is the same offering
as above, but it is limited to 20 business days from the initial
call. Since many support questions arise with installation, this
is an option for those who just want help with basic setup and
configuration questions. It is upgradeable to a full support contract.
Custom support offerings are also available.
The AXE Group also offers a completely managed instance of installations.
"No Worries" Installations: For a small
monthly fee, The AXE Group will remotely manage an instance of
services running on the client's network. All configuration issues,
upgrades, etc. will be handled by AXE staff. Get all of the valuable
management information from the system without worrying about
the application itself.
